Since 1968, Universitat Politècnica de València (UPVLC) is a public and innovative institution in Spain dedicated to researching and teaching activities, whit more than 2800 academic & research staff and 36000 students at this moment. The UPVLC maintains strong bonds with its social environment and a strong presence abroad. CMT – Motores Térmicos group is a very dynamic and internationally well-known Research Institute of the UPVLC with around 100 persons (including more than 60 professors and researchers, and around 30 laboratory technicians), and more than 30 years of experience. Its main research activities focuses on the theoretical-experimental study of all the thermo-fluid dynamic processes in reciprocating internal combustion engines, with the aim of responding to specific demands of the automotive industry.
