Herwig Ofner, AVL & REWARD coordinator presented final results on fuel economy, pollutant emissions reduction and aftertreatment technologies for diesel passenger cars at the second European Conference on Results from Road Transport Research in H2020 projects (H2020RTR18) organized by ERTRAC, EGVIA and the European Commission’s Transport R&I Directorate 28 and 29 November 2018. Mr Ofner also gave an outlook of Advanced EATS optimized for the new combustion concepts, Technologies for high efficiency (combustion + friction) and 2-stroke Diesel engine architecture for B/C class vehicles.
